Introduction: The Season of Waiting
Many of us who build blogs, websites, or online ministries start with a dream. We hope that our work will touch lives, grow an audience, and one day even earn income through tools like Google AdSense.
But then, after we apply for AdSense, we often enter a time of waiting. Days turn into weeks. Maybe the site is still “Under review” or worse — “Rejected.”
It’s in moments like these that Psalm 37 speaks directly to our hearts. David writes from a place of deep life experience, reminding us to commit everything to God, even our online projects.
1. Commit Your Way to the Lord
The word “commit” in Hebrew means to “roll over” your burden onto God — to give Him control of your path, your plan, your timeline.
When you started your blog or website, you may have had good intentions — to share knowledge, inspiration, stories, or truth. But even good intentions can grow anxious when things don’t happen quickly.
Psalm 37:5 reminds us that God is not unaware of your goals. He sees your efforts. He knows your dreams. And He invites you to place it all in His hands — not just the big things, but even things like AdSense approval.
2. Trust in Him — Not in the Algorithm
In today’s world, we often trust in technology: SEO, traffic, analytics, keywords. Those things matter — but they don’t matter more than trusting God.
Psalm 20:7 says:
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
Today, we might say:
“Some trust in traffic and some in monetization, but we trust in God to provide.”
Your responsibility is to do the work: write honestly, follow the rules, be ethical. God’s responsibility is the outcome.
3. He Will Act — In His Time
This is the hardest part: waiting. But David promises: “He will act.”
That means:
God will move.
He will make a way.
He will open the right doors at the right time.
Psalm 27:14 says:
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”
Sometimes, AdSense approval is delayed because God is working in you, not just through your website. He may be teaching you patience, humility, or perseverance.
4. The Bigger Picture: More Than Money
Remember, while AdSense can be a blessing, it is not the only reward. Psalm 1 says:
“Blessed is the one... whose delight is in the law of the Lord... He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.”
God blesses us in season. The fruit will come — and it will last. What you do with your blog or channel can touch lives. It can help others, lift hearts, and shine light. That is more powerful than any ad revenue.
